Houghton and Hancock are both beautiful places to visit. Unfortunately, it can be hard to secure lodging on short notice, especially during CareerFEST and Career Fair. Luckily we have a few resources that may help if you are still looking for lodging options.

Creative solutions like Airbnb, VRBO, or even Campgrounds may have availability as well.

In order to park on campus you will need to pick up an orange parking pass from the Career Services Office (Admin 220). Parking Passes will be available in the morning during CareerFEST days.

Once you have received your parking pass, you are able to park in any metered spot or guest lot. Parking Passes are not valid in Faculty Lots.

9:00-9:30 EST: Recruiters please join us in the Career Services Office (Admin 220 - Shown in Blue on Map) for some light refreshments, check in, and get prepped for an exciting day of interacting with students on campus. We will also have your Parking Passes ready for you to pick up in our office. 

9:00-9:15 EST: Recruiter Daily Announcements, Q&As  (Attendance strongly encouraged)

9:15-9:30 EST: After receiving your Parking Pass please make your way to the CareerFEST in the MUB Ballroom (Shown in Yellow on Map)

9:30-10:45 EST: Setup for CareerFEST. This semester CareerFEST will be in the MUB Ballroom. (Shown in Yellow on Map)

You can unload and drop off supplies at the rear doors of the MUB (Shown in Red on Map)

After unloading, your parking pass permits you to park in any of the visitor or meter spots on campus (Shown in Orange on Map)

11:00-2:00 EST: Official CareerFEST Hours. Interact with students as they learn more about opportunities between classes in a casual, low-pressure environment. 

2:00-3:00 EST: Teardown and Clean Up. Once you wrap up interacting with students it is time to pack up for the day. 

3:00-5:00 EST: Resume Review with Recruiters: If you signed up to volunteer for the Resume Review, please join us in Career Services. The Resume Review runs from 3-5pm (Admin 220 - Shown in Blue on Map).
